Program Terms
Effective date: August 15, 2026
These Terms govern the contracting of a study program through Bid and Study. By confirming your school choice you accept these Terms together with the conditions of the chosen school, including its cancellation and refund policy, which is shown to you with the offer.
1. Who we are and what we do
Bid and Study is operated by FPP EDU Media LLC., 9550 S. Eastern Avenue, Ste. 253, Las Vegas, NV 89123, United States. In Brazil the platform operates under the name LeilãodeIntercâmbio, and in Spanish-speaking markets under the name RematedeCursos.
We intermediate the contracting of your program: we take your bid to accredited schools, present their offers, coordinate the enrollment with the school you choose, guide you on documentation and receive the payments described in Section 3. Classes, facilities, host families, residences and all on-site services are provided by the school or by providers the school contracts.
2. How the contract is formed
Placing a bid is free and receiving offers is free. Choosing a school indicates the offer you want; the enrollment is confirmed after our team reviews your choice, speaks with you and confirms it with the school. Until that confirmation, your choice is not a concluded purchase.
The offer you accept, including price, duration, what is included, who provides each component (course, accommodation, other services) and the school's cancellation policy, is recorded by us exactly as it was shown to you, and that record is the reference for what was contracted.
Check the offer carefully before confirming: course, duration, weekly hours, dates, accommodation, prices and what is included. Class sizes and the mix of nationalities vary through the year, and photos of accommodation represent the category offered, not necessarily the exact room or residence, unless expressly stated.
3. Payments
When you choose a school you pay a reservation deposit of US$ 100, which holds your place and is deducted from the total price of your course. The remaining balance and its due date are confirmed with you by our team before any charge is made. All payments to us are received by FPP EDU Media LLC., not by the school directly.
Refund conditions for these amounts are described in our Refund Policy and in the school's policy shown with the offer.
4. During the program: the school operates
Our service covers preparing and confirming your enrollment before you travel. From your arrival, the program is operated by the school under its own rules, like a hotel operates your stay after a booking site sold it.
Any issue with classes, teachers, schedules, facilities, host family, residence or accommodation must be raised directly with the school as soon as it occurs, so the school has the opportunity to fix it. If the school does not resolve it in a reasonable time, tell us through the platform: we will intervene with the school on your behalf. We do not run schools, host families or residences, and this procedure, school first, then us, is the contractual path for resolving problems during the program.
Personal preference or subjective dissatisfaction with the school, city, classmates, host family or accommodation does not by itself create a right to a refund, unless what was contracted was not delivered or applicable law provides otherwise.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations, changes, credits and refunds follow the school's policy shown with the offer you accepted, together with our Refund Policy. Where the law of your country of residence grants you a mandatory withdrawal or cancellation right for online purchases, that right is preserved.
Missing classes, arriving late, missing your start date or being unable to begin the course for personal or travel reasons does not automatically create a right to a refund or credit. We can ask the school for an exception, a transfer or new dates, and we often do, but we cannot guarantee the school will accept. Changes you request to school, course, dates or accommodation depend on the school's approval and may involve additional costs.
6. Travel, visa and documents
Flights, local transport, insurance and other travel services are not part of what you contract through us, unless expressly stated in the offer. You are responsible for holding a valid passport, obtaining the visa where one is required, taking out any required insurance and arranging your trip so you arrive by the agreed start date.
We are not responsible for missed, delayed or cancelled flights, for airline decisions, or for decisions of migration authorities. Refunds connected to a visa refusal follow the conditions shown with the offer and the school's policy.
7. Your responsibilities
During the program you are responsible for following the rules of the school and of the accommodation, keeping the attendance the course and local authorities require, respecting the laws of the destination country, looking after your money, documents, luggage and personal belongings, and telling the school immediately about any relevant problem.
Consequences of absences, abandoning the course, breaking school rules or local laws follow the school's conditions and applicable law. Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings is handled with the accommodation, your insurer and local authorities, as the case may be.
If the student is a minor, these Terms are accepted by the student's legal guardian, who is responsible for the contracting.
8. Communication and translations
The platform is our official channel with you, and messages exchanged there are valid communication between us. Keep your contact details up to date and follow the communications we and the school send you by email, WhatsApp and through your account.
Texts written by schools, including their cancellation policies, may be shown to you automatically translated for convenience, with the original available. In case of any difference, the school's original text prevails over the translation.
9. Events outside our control
We do not answer for consequences of events that are not part of the services we provide or are outside our control, such as transport delays or cancellations, weather, strikes, government decisions, migration restrictions or similar events, without prejudice to rights that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Applicable law
Nothing in these Terms eliminates or limits rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to FPP EDU Media LLC. and to this contracting, including, where they apply, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the student's country of residence.
By confirming my choice, I declare that I have read and accept these Terms and the conditions of the chosen school, including its cancellation and refund policy.
