The 90 days before you travel

Doing it gradually is far easier than solving everything in the last two weeks.

Once the course is chosen, a new stage begins: organising the trip. Doing it gradually is much easier than trying to solve everything in the final weeks.

About three months before

Confirm your course and dates. Check the documents you need, the entry requirements, the visa where it applies, insurance, accommodation and how long your passport is valid. This is also a good moment to start watching flight prices.

About two months before

Start on the practical side: how to get in from the airport, public transport, the weather, phone and internet, ways to pay, where the school is and what the area around your accommodation is like. Estimate the money you will need for the first weeks.

In the last month

Check documents and bookings again. Keep digital copies of anything important. Confirm accommodation, flight and first day of class. Look up what you can and cannot bring into the country, especially medicines and food.

In the last week

Do not try to learn everything about the destination. You do not need to. Have the essentials in order: documents, money, phone, transport, accommodation and the school's contact.

You will work the rest out as you go. That is part of it too.

Still choosing your school?

Tell us the course, the destination and the budget you are looking for. Accredited schools can send you offers to compare. You compare, and you choose.
